After the festive season I'm focused on getting as much nutrients from my food as possible. Not a big dairy eater but I want to improve my digestion and strengthen my immune system by increasing foods that contain good bacteria.
A very popular one is yoghurt which is what I have pictured here for a snack.
Your intestines are home to 500 million bacteria both good & bad. It's very important to ensure you have more good then bad. If you have recently taken an anti-biotic it's important to increase good bacteria intake with pro-bitotics. Your anti-biotics kill the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria at the same time which can leave you susceptible to stomach bugs and flu.
