When starting a weight loss journey most people will focus on one thing to try and achieve their goal. Unfortunately the one that most usually focus on is the exercise component which is only contributes around twenty percent of the final result. The reality is that any fat loss success is usually determined by the food you eat, eighty percent of it in fact. As much as we would like to think so you simply can not out exercise a bad diet it simply does not work that way.
The three main ingredients that contribute to the achievement of your goal that you have control over;
When you get all three on the right track you will be on the right track. You can not have one without the other. If you exercise three times per week but eat junk food four times per week you are barely breaking even. Same if you plan to eat well but you have poor self control and find yourself heading to the pantry late at night, this is where your mindset is letting you down. Everything needs to be on a level playing field to bring about success.
If you have been training really hard and regularly and don't seem to be able to get to where you want to be try looking at your nutrition. The best way to do this is to write a food diary for a week. Write down everything you put into your mouth both food and beverages. This process alone will usually be enough to highlight anything you could improve. For more tips on how to change and improve your mindset subscribe to my YouTube channel here
