You need to more than just cardio in
order to lose weight.
There is still a very big misconception
out there that doing just cardio is the
best way to lose weight and tone up.
Not entirely so.
Even though I don't like to say that
any one particular exercise is "bad"
because if you enjoy one type of
exercise you should definitely
continue to do it because it keeps
However just make sure that your
exercise regime is well balanced
with cardio as well as muscle building
and strength exercises.
One of my clients started training
with me at the start of the year. She
had been having trouble getting rid
of the stomach weight that had all
of a sudden creaped up on her out
of nowhere... you know how it is.
She had been doing cardio daily before
she met me and had been stuck on
the same weight for 6 months.
So I put her on a program to start
building muscle mass and strength
as well as focusing on her diet with
very little cardio.
6 months later her body composition
has completely changed and she has
lost a total of 18 cms around
