I was at the gym this morning talking to one
of the Personal Trainers there and it seems
that women have the same problem all over
They don't listen.
I mean really listen.
Here is how it usually goes.
There is this one method YOU think will
get you to lose weight.
It is a method that you have used ALL
of your life which hasn't ever gotten
you to your goal but it made your
friend lose 20 kilos back in 2010 so
it must work.
Then there is the method your trainer or
coach tells you which doesn't really make
sense to you even though they have helped
hundreds of people get results AND they have
the background knowledge on weight loss to
back them up.
You decide to keep doing your method
ignoring what your coach tells you because
... well your method makes more sense and
Debbie, your friend she lost that 20 Kilos that
one time back in 2010.
Story of my life.
Here is what I want to tell you ladies and
I REALLY want you to actually hear me
when I say it.
No matter how much exercise you do and
how hard you train if you are not making
changes to your diet it will only get you so
Your focus needs to really be on what you
are putting in your mouth before the exercise.
The reason you are not losing weight has
nothing to do with the program you are
on or your coach it has everything to do
with that bottle of wine you drink every other
It has to do with the block of chocolate
you ate of Thursday because you had a
bad day at work and it has to do with the
Maccas run you did on Saturday afternoon
after the kids played soccer.
You think that because you are exercising
5 days per week you should be seeing a
better result but all you are really doing is
working off what you ate & drunk all week.
If you want to see more of a change you
have to dig deeper and make changes
where it counts.
Your diet matters more than the exercise.
